Sian (pronounced shan) is a highly organized planner, connector of people and ideas, and versatile writer. Sian has been trained in transformative organizing through the Black Organizing for Leadership and Dignity (BOLD) and the Center for Third World Organizing (CTWO), and brings an intersectional, multicultural, feminist perspective to her work. For the last ten years she has worked as an organizer, researcher, and project manager within social justice organizations focused on economic justice, migration, human rights, and racial justice. In her fundraising and development work, Sian moves resources to inspiring movement work that is making our society more just, fair, and free from oppression. With Afro-Caribbean and Irish family roots, she lives with her partner and daughters in New Orleans.
